The events of the game “Zombie Slayers Unit” take place in a fantasy world called Farawayland. Magic and technology reign in this world, and it is inhabited by various fantastic creatures, mainly anthropomorphic animals.

To the west of Farawayland, there are such developed kingdoms as Velikol’vivshchyna, United Kingdoms of Freedom, and the countries that belong to the Continental Union (Schnitzelia, Bagetia, Hamletia, Klenovia, Polandia, and others). Together, they founded the Organization of United Kingdoms (abbreviated as OUK), which monitors order and relationships between all the kingdoms of Farawayland.

To the east of Farawayland lies the wild and gruesome land of Mosdor. It is populated by cruel and warlike peoples: orcs, goblins, sheep heads, and others. For almost three centuries, Mosdor has been ruled by a dark wizard, Baron von Hlo. Using magical projection boxes, he transforms all the inhabitants of his lands who do not submit to him into obedient zombies.

Between the west and Mosdor lie the lands of Finecountry – a bright democratic country that Baron von Hlo has long dreamed of capturing. Finecountry is inhabited by many different creatures, but the main ethnic group consists of mouse-like peaceful and hardworking farmers.

After many unsuccessful attempts to capture Finecountry, Baron von Hlo decides to secretly launch a full-scale war. On the 24th of February, at 4 o’clock in the morning, Mosdor attacked the cities of Finecountry with rockets, and the Baron’s army entered these lands, sowing chaos and violence.

Despite the support of Finecountry by the western kingdoms, they were afraid to enter into open conflict with Mosdor, as the Baron threatened them with powerful enchanted bombs. Also, the Baron is supported by such dark kingdoms as Shahidiya and Bulbashkent.

No one believed that a small peaceful people could resist the mighty Baron. For the people of Finecountry, difficult and terrible times had come. But heroes emerged who united and decided to fight the invaders. They were called the ZSU.
